Georgia Robinette - Attorney

Georgia Robinette joined the firm after serving clients in both private practice and as in-house counsel for a Fortune 500 company.  Her private firm experience began with a litigation practice, which included both representation and litigation avoidance strategies for companies with commercial, employment and employee benefits law disputes and litigation.  She later served as Director/Senior Counsel at a Fortune 500 company where she managed employee benefits compliance, served as the HIPAA Privacy Officer and provided legal support to the entire Human Resources team.  She also advised the company's Board, Benefits Committee and Investment Committee and managed significant transactions, such as the contribution of employer real property to the pension plan, and transitions, such as implementation of health care reform requirements. 

Her practice is focused on employee benefits, including health care reform, health & welfare plans, HIPAA, data privacy & security and ERISA compliance.  She also provides employment law counseling and compliance advice. With experience in both employee benefits and human resources, she brings a holistic view and proactive problem-solving to your organization. 

Georgia graduated from Arkansas State University with a B.S. in journalism and received her J.D. from the University of Memphis School of Law.  She was a member of the Law Review, served as Notes Editor and received Dean’s Awards for excellence in the study of Real Property and Remedies.  Following law school, she served as a judicial law clerk for the Tennessee Court of Appeals and the Arkansas Supreme Court and she was a contributing editor to the Tennessee Law of Comparative Fault.  She is licensed to practice law in Arkansas and Tennessee.  

Georgia lives and works in Little Rock, Arkansas with her family.  She is a board member for her local public radio station and a supporter of John 3:16 Ministries.  She enjoys doing home projects, reading, spending time with her extended family and being active in her son’s school, sports and scouting activities.
